First the manifold has the carb pad milled level, the divider wall milled out, injector bung holes bored in the runners, and the mounting holes for the adaptor plate bored square to the new carb pad surface and tapped for helicoil inserts.
The bungs are made and jig welded in to keep height and true to square. Once welded in the bungs are reamed to 14mm and the tops of the bungs are skimmed in the mill to insure all are level.
Fuel rails are machined from extruded aluminum to match the bung spacing, injector holes are a reamed 14mm here as well, and the rail ends are tapped to 1/2"NPT.
The adaptor plate is 3D CNC machined out of 6061 T6 aluminum. It is designed to fit both LS1 and Vortec style throttle bodies and the TB mounting is offset to allow use of a (modified) stock throttle bracket, and cables. The cruise cable (should you have cruise) will need a compact end to clear the fuel rail. I can supply this if need be. The adaptor is slightly oversize to the plenum to allow for matching. The adaptor plate is attached the manifold, rails are set on an injector mockup jig, and the mounting locations (to the adaptor standoffs) are located, drilled, and tapped. Rails mount to the adaptor plate using 2 bolts thru aluminum standoffs on both sides.
The manifold then has the bungs sanded to match the runner walls as well as matching the plenum to the adaptor. All remaining edges of the divider wall are smoothed as well as any casting flash. Fittings to adapt the stock fuel lines to -06AN are provided, as are injector connectors and terminals. Gaskets, bolts and coil mount are provided as shown in the pics. The coil mount is located on the back side of the adaptor plate and positions the coil above the distributor.
Things needed to complete:
!!!TUNING!!!(No way around this with bigger injectors)
Standard "Domestic" injectors
Fuel Pressure Regulator
1 1/4" Filler Neck
Fuel lines and fittings*
Water hose fitting
Vacuum distributation block
EGR and brake booster fittings
EGR delete plug (into exhaust manifold)
Intake to head gaskets
Radiator hose (might need to tweak on one with cutting and splicing it)
(* Fitting for both
ends of both rails, fitting into and out of FPR, fuel line from stock feed
to rail, rail to rail, rail to FPR, FPR to stock return line)
